Our unisex work jacket cut from a super nice unwashed 14oz Japanese Indigo Denim. We searched for a long time to find the perfect shade of Indigo and found it in a few rolls of deadstock denim. The weight and texture are a little bit hardier than our canvas, which is great to have as a layering piece on chilly spring evenings. As you wear it, the fabric will start to lose some of its stiffness and mold to your body.

The fit is slim in the neck and arms with room in the body for cold-weather layers. Because of the stiffness inherent in unwashed denim, these tend to fit a little bigger than our Canvas Work Jackets so we recommend sizing one down from what you wear in the Canvas.

Denim care: 

Because these are made from an unwashed, raw denim, we recommend going as long as possible in between washes. If you get to a point where you feel you absolutely must wash them, we recommend doing so in cold water, flipped inside out. Then hang to dry.

The longer you can go between washes, the better.
